Bobby Brewer Park Gearing Up
Bobby Brewer Memorial Park is getting ready to go into full swing. If you are interested in watching some awesome ballgames, this is the place that you need to be. There is a wide range of sports for children and adults.
The park consists of two youth softball fields, two adult softball fields, four youth baseball fields, two soccer fields with one of these divided up into five youth recreation league fields, one football field, one Babe Ruth baseball Field, batting cages, playground and a scenic nature area around a beautiful little pond.
All of the fields have lights except for the Babe Ruth baseball field and the football field.
Bobby Brewer Park is the home of the City of Lawrenceburg’s Girls Fastpitch Softball League, men’s softball league, the new Cal Ripkin Baseball league, and the Lawrenceburg Soccer Association League.
Cal Ripkin Baseball opens up with a Jamboree on Saturday, April 6 and the regular season begins on Monday, April 8.
The Lawrenceburg Soccer Association League kicks off the season on Saturday, April 6.
The Men’s NSA Softball League begins on Monday, April 15.
The Girls Fastpitch USSSA Softball League starts with a Jamboree on Saturday, April 27 and the regular season begins on Monday, April 29.
The park is very family oriented and there are certain rules that must be followed. Speed limit throughout the park is 10 miles per hour at all times.
Remember that there are many children in the park and this is for their safety. No weapons are allowed in the park. No smoking on the ball fields or dugouts.
Parking is allowed in designated parking spaces and in the designated areas along the roadway. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
New policy at Bobby Brewer Park is that the park is open from sunrise to sunset unless events/games are scheduled. Individuals found in the park after sunset when no events are scheduled will be subject to prosecution.
